Jan. 22, 2015: Jonathan Adelman presents 'China in Crisis: Will it Become a Superpower in the Next Two Decades?' Jan. 22

Jonathan Adelman, Ph.D., professor at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, will be our speaker and will address the question: "China in Crisis: Will it Become a Superpower in the Next Two Decades?"

Adelman is both a distinguished scholar and talented public lecturer, with remarkable range and depth. His areas of regional expertise span China, Russia, the Middle East and Israel. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated a deep record of academic publications, and has lectured at leading universities in Europe and America, including Harvard, Columbia, Berkeley, Cambridge and Central European University in Budapest. He has also contributed to international diplomacy on behalf of the United States government and business firms, and has been a featured speaker on many international speaking tours. His contributions to public awareness of international affairs include op-eds and guest appearances for leading news outlets, including CNN, the Huffington Post, and Fox News, and he has been quoted by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News and NBC News.
