Residence Life now hiring for the 2015–16 academic year

by Michelle Saport  |

The Department of Residence Life is actively recruiting for live-in student staff in four areas: Resident Advisors (RAs), Community Assistants (CAs), Residential Academic Coaches (RACs) and Cama-i Room Live-In Peer Mentors (CRPMs) for the Fall 2015-Spring 2016 academic year.

The Department of Residence Life supports on-campus housing for 950 students and works in partnership with University Housing & Dining Services to form On-Campus Living. Our program provides leadership training, experiential learning, awareness of diverse lifestyles and cultures, co-curricular programs and activities (educational and social), and behavioral accountability. Residence Life's student development approach focuses on enriching each student's higher education experiences by delivering high-quality, student-centered programs and services.

Working as a live-in student staff member is an enjoyable and challenging experience, and provides opportunities to gain marketable skills in human relations, customer service, time management and team building that few other on-campus positions offer.

  • Resident Advisors (Live-In):  Receive a free single suite room and meal plan each semester, with up to four optional desk hours per week at $8.50 per hour.
  • Community Assistants & Residential Academic Coaches (Live-In): Receive a $750 reduction on a single suite each semester, with up to 10 optional desk hours per week at $8.50 per hour.
  • Cama-i Room Peer Mentors (Live-In):  Receive a $750 reduction on a single suite each semester.

We start our recruitment early because the selection process is highly competitive, but our applicants have fun and learn from the process. We hope you'll consider applying today!
