Graduate Degree Hooding Ceremony Master's and doctoral degree candidates Saturday, May 2, 3 p.m. Wendy Williamson Auditorium
Commencement Ceremony All degree candidates Sunday, May 3, 1 p.m. Alaska Airlines Center
Instructions for claiming commencement guest tickets were sent on March 16 to those who have already applied for graduation through UAOnline. We ask that graduates claim their tickets by April 24. Those who apply for graduation after March 16 will receive email instructions for claiming their guest tickets 7-10 days after submitting an application for graduation.
Cap, gown and tassel are required to participate in both ceremonies. A hood also is required for master's and doctoral degree candidates participating in the ceremonies. This regalia is available for purchase from the UAA Campus Bookstore during and after the Graduation Fair on March 18 and 19, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. If you can't attend Graduation Fair, please purchase these items by April 17 to assure their arrival prior to the ceremonies.
