Professor Landry Signé was recently named one of the 2015 World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders (YGLs), an honor bestowed to "the world's most outstanding, next-generation leaders, who commit a portion of their time to jointly share a better future and thereby improve the state of the world."

Each year, the World Economic Forum recognizes about 200 outstanding Young Global Leaders from thousands of candidates that represent "the future of leadership, coming from all regions of the world and representing business, government, civil society, arts and culture, academia and media, as well as social entrepreneurs." These Young Global Leaders (YGLs) have committed their energy and knowledge to the most critical issues facing humankind.

"We integrate Young Global Leaders into processes that allow them to have a real impact on global affairs and to make sure that global decision-making preserves the interests of the next generation," said Professor Klaus Schwab, executive chairman of the World Economic Forum and founder of the Forum of Young Global Leaders. "YGLs engage with leaders outside their community, serving as sounding boards and advisers to international organizations, governments and private institutions."
