Announcing the Northern Renaissance Arts & Sciences Readings schedule, presented in conjunction with the UAA MFA Summer Residency program. Celebrate the arts with nine nights of literary readings by UAA faculty and guests.
All readings begin at 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building, Room 150. Free admission and free parking. More information at uaa.alaska.edu/cwla.
- Sunday, July 12: Ron Carlson, keynote writer
- Monday, July 13: John P. O'Grady and Jo-Ann Mapson
- Tuesday, July 14: CLIA Awards presentation and readings by Elizabeth Bradfield and Richard Chiappone
- Wednesday, July 15: Graduating students reading
- Thursday, July 16*: Nancy Lord and Craig Childs
- Saturday, July 18: Anne Caston, Ed Allen and Carolyn Turgeon
- Sunday, July 19: Andromeda Romano-Lax, Zack Rogow and Eva Saulitis
- Monday, July 20: Sean Hill (distinguished guest poet) and Valerie Miner
- Tuesday, July 21: David Stevenson and Sherry Simpson
*Motley Crue concert at the Alaska Airlines Center on July 16 will impact parking and campus traffic. Reading Series attendants will find reserved parking on the ground floor of the parking garage behind the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building.
