Remembering UAA professor Dr. Marc Robinson, 1953–2015

20150724-marc-robinsonUAA Professor of Education Dr. Marc Robinson passed away on July 12, 2015. He taught classes at UAA's Matanuska-Susitna College and Anchorage campuses, and also served as program chair for the College of Education's elementary education program. Dr. Robinson touched many lives and impacted the futures of our students. Many recall his wonderful personality and his talents. He was, to many of our students, a mentor and a friend. He was quoted as saying, "I am a lifelong learner. I truly believe that all students can learn and it is the responsibility of teachers to provide a safe and stimulating educational environment."

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Legacy Heritage Chapel, 440 E. Klatt Road, Anchorage. Matanuska-Susitna College will host a memorial service for Dr. Robinson on Sunday, Aug. 9, at 4 p.m. in the Glenn Massay Theater. All are welcome.
