20150619-ceph-logo-horiz-medBased on an extensive self-study process and September 2014 site visit by national reviewers, the UAA graduate program in public health was successfully re-accredited by the Council of Education for Public Health (CEPH) for the maximum term of seven years (through July 1, 2022).

According to Professor of Public Health Rhonda Johnson, who led the multi-year re-accreditation effort with the help and support of many campus and community partners, "National accreditation demonstrates that our Master's in Public Health (MPH) program meets national standards of excellence while also addressing public health workforce needs in our state. We are particularly pleased that the extensive review confirmed compliance with all relevant criteria, an unusual achievement, and we are greatly appreciative of the interest and support of so many colleagues throughout the process."
