University Police Department now offers digital fingerprinting

by Michelle Saport  |

University Police Department is now offering digital fingerprinting at a cost of $25 per person.

What is digital fingerprinting? A new way to collect fingerprints without getting your fingers covered in ink.

How do I make an appointment? • You may request that your instructor schedule an appointment block with UPD around your classroom instruction time. • Call UPD at (907) 786-1120 to make an appointment. • Come by the office and pick up the silver phone (note there might be a wait time with this option).

How do I prepare for this appointment? Do not wash your hands at least two hours prior to the appointment. Please do not use any lotion that day if possible; we need your natural oils to get the best fingerprints possible. You must also have photo identification.

Please contact us directly if you have any questions, and good luck with your classes this upcoming school year!
