Sept. 28, 2015: Alaska in Aluminum

Monday, Sept. 28, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Student Union, Hallway
Ray Dummar, UAA alum and local artist, will present two free workshops on campus. Students are invited to attend and make Christmas tree ornaments with Alaska designs out of recycled soda can bottoms using embossing techniques. The ornaments made at these workshops will be shipped to the National Christmas Lighting Ceremony in Washington D.C. The goal is to have students make as many of these ornaments as possible. It only takes ten minutes of your time during this workshop to help contribute to this National Ceremony.
