Fall 2015: ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building will be without heat through Sunday

by Michelle Saport  |

From Thursday, Sept. 24, to Sunday, Sept. 27, the boilers that heat the ConocoPhillips Integrated Sciences Building will be offline for repair. Facilities personnel have reviewed the weather forecast and determined that it is safe to proceed with repairs to piping. Outdoor temperatures will make the building cold, but should not cause any freezing.

Building fans will be managed in a way to retain as much heat as possible; however, labs require several air changes per hour. Electric heaters will be used in critical areas where electrical circuits allow.

This activity will impact the comfort of building occupants. We strongly encourage students, faculty and staff in CPISB to dress warmly.

We apologize for any inconvenience. These repairs must be completed before winter.
