Don't miss the UAA Alumni Association's prestigious black-tie gala. The elegant fundraiser includes a champagne reception, scrumptious four-course dinner, entertainment and live auction.
Celebrate university successes with 400 guests and alumni starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 in the Alaska Airlines Center.
The evening's menu features a sophisticated surf-and-turf including coriander-crusted Alaska salmon with beurre blanc sauce, complemented by a dessert of double chocolate cake with salted caramel drizzle.
Auction items include a weeklong stay at a luxury Palm Springs condo, a trip to Kodiak Island and a private dinner with UAA Chancellor Tom Case and his wife, Susan.
The university's largest fundraising event is in its sixth year and has raised more than $330,000 for UAA student scholarships to date. Meet some of the students who've been helped by these scholarships in this video.
Tickets and sponsor tables are available through Friday, Sept. 18. Single tickets are $175 and include champagne, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert and table wines. Dress code is black tie optional.
