Farewell to Dana Bonifacio-Sample, associate director of Student Union and Commuter Student Services

Dana Bonifacio-Sample has accepted an exciting new position at the University of Alabama. She will be the director of the newly renovated Ferguson Student Center. We are so proud of Dana and this next step on her career path.

Since arriving at UAA four years ago, Dana has made significant contributions to our campus community developing our programs and services for UAA students. She has served on committees such as Safe-Zone, NCBI, and A-Team; as advisor to the Family, and staff volunteer at Commencement and the annual Homecoming Dances. Dana did all this, in addition to her position as Associate Director for Student Union and Commuter Student Services. Dana's student-centered focus, consistent positive outlook, and dedication to the profession are hallmarks of her service.

We will truly miss Dana! Her last day is Wednesday, Sept. 16. Please come wish her well and thank her for all her contributions to UAA:
