Fall 2015: Need help selecting a major or defining your career path?

Consider enrolling in COUN A101 "Introduction to Career Exploration" (CRN: 76550) to explore your academic and career options, and to help guide your decision-making. This course is a one-credit, five-week opportunity starting Nov. 1. The class will meet Mondays through Nov. 30, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in University Center, Room 115. Registration is now open at UAOnline.

Highlights of the course include:

  • Identifying and understanding how one's interests, values, skills and aptitudes can help in selecting compatible majors and careers;
  • Learning how to research occupations and majors (e.g., job shadowing, internships, student jobs, campus activities, web resources); and
  • Discovering how to make an effective decision and plan of action.
