Fall 2015: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training opportunities

Working with OSHA and the University of Washington, the KPC Anchorage Extension Site is offering two upcoming trainings in the University Center.

OSHA 511 - Standards for General Industry Oct. 19-22 University Center, Room 120

This four-day course covers federal and state regulatory policies as well as health and safety principles for general industry, with an emphasis on high hazards. Register at osha.washington.edu. Cost to attend is $680; student discount available.

OSHA 2045 - Machinery & Machine Guarding Standards Nov. 2-5 University Center, Room 120

Recognize machinery hazards through this hands-on approach to machine inspection. Register at osha.washington.edu. Cost to attend is $680; student discount available.
