Members of the UAA campus community have been dismayed by the recent spate of shootings in higher education settings across the U.S. and wish more information about how to prevent and respond to such incidents. Please join us to view and discuss a video entitled "Shots Fired" which addresses surviving an armed aggressor event on a campus. Ron Swartz, former chief of University Police, now with Environmental Health & Safety/Risk Management, will facilitate the discussion. You may also view the video online at alaska.edu/risksafety (grey bar on the left).
