Ray Ball publishes article in 'The Sixteenth Century Journal'

The UAA Department of History's own Dr. Ray Ball's article, "'Beautiful Serpents' and 'Cathedras of Pestilence': Antitheatrical Traditions, Gendered Decline and Political Crisis in Early Modern Spain and England," has appeared in the most recent issue of The Sixteenth Century Journal. Ray conducted some of the research for this article, which is part of her larger book project, with the support of UAA College of Arts and Sciences start-up funds.
