You're going out to fish camp for a couple of months, the hunting lodge for several weeks in the fall or mining camp for the summer... What is the most efficient way to light, heat and cook? How many types of fuel will you really need, and what quantity? Learn how to get the energy you need at seasonal locations where you can't just "plug in" to the nearest electrical pole! You will receive a remote energy planning guide and a small wood burn box.

If you have to leave the house in a hurry because of an emergency, how are you going to feed the kids? Have you considered wrapping vegetables in tin foil and cooking them on the manifold of your car? Do you know how to make a solar cooker out of old cardboard and Mylar? Stop by this one-hour workshop to find out how you can make the meals in an emergency. You will receive a grilling screen and great recipes.
