Fall 2015: Two community-engaged funding opportunities

The UAA Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) announces two requests for proposals. Apply for faculty community-engaged minigrants and/or funds to support a community-engaged student assistant. Proposals are due Friday, Dec. 11. See below or uaa.alaska.edu/engage for details.

Faculty Community-Engaged Minigrant A request for proposals is now open for faculty minigrant funding to conduct community-engaged research or to plan and carry out community projects during the spring 2016 semester. Awards of up to $2,000 are open to full-time faculty in all UAA schools and colleges and at all campuses. Proposal deadline for faculty minigrant applications is Friday, Dec. 11, by noon. Community-Engaged Student Assistant (CESA) The Center for Community Engagement & Learning is accepting faculty proposals for the Community-Engaged Student Assistant (CESA) program for the spring semester. Apply to receive spring 2016 tuition awards for your community-engaged student assistant to support your community-engaged teaching, research or creative activity. Proposal deadline is Friday, Dec. 11, by 5 p.m. Details and application packet are available on the CCEL website.
