After-the-Count Party and Tally: Saturday, Dec. 19, 5-8 p.m. Student Union, Cafeteria
The Anchorage Christmas Bird Count will take place this Saturday, Dec. 19. It's the biggest national birding event of the year and everyone is invited to participate. After the count, head to the UAA Student Union for the tally and a delectable chili feed.
Visit the Anchorage Audobon Society website to learn how to take part in the Christmas Bird Count. The event is free, but you must sign up in advance.
