Jan. 23, 2016: UAA Glee Club Spring Auditions

Saturday, Jan. 23, 12-4 p.m. Fine Arts Building, Room 124

It's that time again! The UAA Glee Club is holding auditions for new members. Expect to stay the whole time (not required, but recommended). Auditions will be video-recorded for deliberation purposes only and will not be made public.

Be prepared and bring your energy!

• Come prepared with a song to sing a cappella (about one minute in length).
• If you are auditioning for beatboxing, have something short prepared to perform.
• Bring a printout of your school schedule.
• Please have a general idea of your availability and conflicts for the spring semester (and summer, if you know it).
• Wear comfy clothes. There will be a dance audition after the singing auditions (nothing crazy but be willing to move).
• We will teach the group a quick song to observe your ability to work as a team and blend. Ability to read music is not required, but the ability to push through will be noted.

Unable to attend Saturday, Jan. 23? Submit a video audition to uaa.glee@gmail.com before midnight on Friday, Jan. 22. We will respond to all submissions. If we did not email you back, we did not receive your video. The email will include a link to an audition form you must fill out.

Please include the following with emailed video auditions:

1. Your class schedule and planned vacations for the semester. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m. Concert date is TBA (projected for mid-November).
2. Singing experience (and dancing experience, if you have any).
