Six awards and distinctions for Political Science Professor Landry Signé

Professor Landry Signé has been honored by the Alaska Journal of Commerce as one of the 2016 Alaska's Top Forty Under 40, a distinction that "recognizes the state's top professionals younger than age 40 who have demonstrated professional excellence and a commitment to their community."

 The World Economic Forum and Harvard Kennedy School have selected Professor Signé to participate in a fully funded certifying executive program, Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century. This program, which will be held from March 28 to April 8, 2016 at Harvard Kennedy School, is exclusively reserved to the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders. The cohort also includes heads and members of government, senators and members of the house of representatives, president and C-level executives of leading multinational corporations and banks, and leading university administrators.

Professor Landry Signé was also bestowed the 2015 American Political Science Association (APSA) Campus Teaching Award, honoring his teaching excellence and achievement. He was featured in the APSA journal, PS: Political Science & Politics.

Moreover, Professor Landry Signé has also received the 2016 Cameroon Government's Special Prize for Academic Excellence, which is bestowed each year to one scholar considered as the best in the country. He was a special guest of the Youth Minister during the National Youth Celebration.

Additionally, Professor Landry Signé was featured in the 2015 list of Top 100 most influential people in West Cameroon by Ouest Echos, along with the President of the Senate, the Governor, the Cabinet Minister for Scientific Research and Innovation, the Cabinet Minister of Public Work, mayors of prominent cities, the French Ambassador, and some of the most innovative and wealthiest business people.

Finally, Professor Landry Signé has been appointed as the Ambassador and Distinguished Faculty Leader of the Commonwealth Club of California, where he will lead a select group of Californians during a cultural Safari in Tanzania, and give a series of talks on rising Africa.
