Spring 2016: Two community-engaged funding opportunities

Faculty Community-Engaged Minigrant RFP open for fall 2016; proposal deadline is May 6 The Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) is now accepting faculty minigrant proposals for community-engaged research and projects. (This is the early-bird call. We anticipate another RFP in mid-August.) Awards of up to $2,000 are open to full-time faculty in all UAA schools and colleges and at all campuses. Proposal deadline for faculty minigrant applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 6. Details and application packet are available on the CCEL website at uaa.alaska.edu/engage.

Community Engaged Student Assistant (CESA) program accepting applications for fall 2016; proposal deadline is May 6 The Center for Community Engagement & Learning is now accepting early-bird faculty proposals for the Community Engaged Student Assistant (CESA) program for fall 2016. We anticipate another call for CESAs in mid-August. Apply to receive tuition awards for your Community Engaged Student Assistant to support your community-engaged teaching, research or creative activity. Proposal deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 6.
