Seawolf Women's Hoops celebration planned for Thursday

The University of Alaska Anchorage women's basketball team will be honored for the best season in school history with a public celebration this Thursday, April 7. Festivities will start at 5:30 p.m. in the Alaska Airlines Center's main gymnasium and fans will receive a commemorative team photo that can be autographed by the team.
UAA finished 38-3 this season, advancing to the NCAA D-II Title Game for the first time in school history. The Seawolves were also Great Northwest Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament champions.
