Help empower today's youth to be tomorrow's entrepreneurs. Lemonade Day Alaska is looking for volunteers to help register kids for lemonade day during Kids Day this Saturday. Volunteers are needed at the Alaska Zoo, Dena'ina Center and Anchorage Museum. We are looking for 15 volunteers if split shifts and around eight if full day. Please contact Simone Jaggers at lemonadedayalaska@gmail.com if you are interested in this rewarding opportunity.

About Lemonade Day Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business - a lemonade stand. It began with a vision to shape Alaska into a place that breeds, grows and attracts entrepreneurs. Each child that registers receives a free backpack with an Entrepreneur Workbook that teaches them the 14 lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some. This year's Lemonade Day will be June 11.
