Strategic Pathways The Strategic Pathways framework seeks to strengthen UA's ability to meet the state's high priority needs for post-secondary education by focusing each of our universities on its unique areas of strength all the while providing wide access to cost effectively delivered common courses and services across Alaska. It is part of the plan to meet the university's budget deficit. The draft Strategic Pathways framework can be found at alaska.edu/pathways. UA President Jim Johnsen hosted three open forums at UAA about Strategic Pathways earlier this week. All three forums will soon be available on the UAA Podcasts page.
