Announcement of changes to credit/debit card payments made to student accounts

by Michelle Saport  |

As of June 1, 2016, the University of Alaska will adopt a Service Fee model for credit/debit card payments made to student accounts. Credit/debit card payments will be accepted online via UAonline (Touchnet) or Tuition Management Systems (TMS) websites and include a fee of 2.75 percent of the transaction amount ($3 minimum). These portals are a secure and convenient method to pay your account, which we encourage you to continue to use.

The "free" payment options available are:

  • Web Check (ACH) payments may be made online and the service fee will NOT apply to these transactions.
  • Checks, cash and money orders will continue to be accepted at UAA Cashiering, both in person at the University Center and via USPS: PO Box 141609, Anchorage, AK 99514-1609.

Please note: We will no longer be able to accept phone payments for your student account. However, we will provide a payment kiosk for self-service online payments at the University Center.

For up-to-date student account information, including frequently asked questions, please visit the UAA Accounting Services website at uaa.alaska.edu/accounting-services.

Remember: The summer 2016 payment deadline is July 1, 5 p.m.
