My Major Discovery: Your guide to selecting a major at UAA

Helping students make the right decision when choosing a major is a critical step toward achieving future career goals, realizing dreams and staying on track to graduation. The Division of Student Access, Advising and Transition is excited to announce My Major Discovery, a program developed by the Advising & Testing Center to guide exploratory/undeclared students through the process of choosing a major.

• Easy access to a new online guide that provides students with tools, assessments and information necessary for selecting a major.
• Increases resources available to faculty and professional staff who guide and provide support to students.
• Clearly identifies professional advisors who specialize in working with students unsure about their major.
• Actively promotes student connections and engagement with faculty, professional staff and valuable campus activities, services and programs.
