2016 SpringHill Suites Invitational

The UAA volleyball team starts its 14-match regular-season home slate with the 20th edition of the SpringHill Suites Invitational, Sept. 1-3 at the Alaska Airlines Center. Visiting for the 2016 tournament will be defending South Central Region champion Arkansas Fort Smith, which went 29-4 a year ago, along with Rollins (Fla.), Westminster (Utah) and fellow West Region foe Stanislaus State (Calif.). UAA begins its title defense Thursday at 7 p.m. against Westminster and faces UAFS in the finale of the round-robin tourney on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
