In this dialogue, a panel of faculty will share their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in the classroom as they discuss current events related to race, racism and race relations with their students. The faculty panel includes Dr. Nelta Edwards (Sociology), Dr. Ian Hartman (History), Dr. Joy Chavez Mapaye (Journalism & Communication) and Instructor James (Jim) Rudkin (English).

Light refreshments will be served. Hosted by the UAA Faculty Senate Diversity Committee.
