Isabel Mead receives the Employee of the Quarter Award from Pat Shier, interim vice chancellor for Administrative Services.
Employee of the Quarter Award for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017 goes to Isabel Mead! Isabel is the bookstore's jack-of-all-trades. Designer, tech guru, carpenter, painter and the list goes on... Isabel, who is currently the assistant technology buyer, has been working for the UAA Bookstore since she became a student worker in 2008. She started out as a cashier and it was quickly apparent how valuable of an asset Isabel would become. Isabel has always been willing to help others-whether it be ringing customers up or training co-workers, she gives 101 percent. Her many efforts, from introducing the electronic trade-in at the bookstore's TechZone to her Drowsy Wolf logo design at the café, have been widely appreciated by the campus community. Congratulations, Isabel, you've earned it!
