Fall 2016: Turn clocks back this weekend

by Michelle Saport  |

The UAA Office of Emergency Management reminds you to turn your clocks back one hour as you go to bed this Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time ends early Sunday morning, and it serves as a good time to change the battery in your smoke detectors and freshen the water in your emergency kit(s). For more information on creating your Alaska seven-day emergency kit, go to ready.alaska.gov.
