November 2016: NCAA West Regional Volleyball Championships

2016 NCAA Div. II West Region Volleyball Championships Friday, Dec. 2 - Semifinals 5 p.m. - #3 Western Washington vs. #2 Cal State San Bernardino 7:30 p.m. - #5 Northwest Nazarene vs. #1 UAA

Saturday, Dec. 3 - Championship 7 p.m. - Semifinal winners (winner advances to NCAA DII Elite Eight, Dec. 8-10, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota)

The nationally 9th-ranked Alaska Anchorage volleyball team has been selected as the top seed and host for the NCAA Division II West Region Championships for the second year in a row, as the NCAA unveiled the 64-team national field and regional host sites Monday. The Seawolves will host the eight-team West Regional tournament Dec. 1-3 at the Alaska Airlines Center.

All matches from the NCAA Div. II West Regional Championships will feature live stats and video stream, with links at GoSeawolves.com.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased one of three ways: In person at the Terry Ann Homan Box Office at the Alaska Airlines Center (3550 Providence Drive); online at alaskaairlinescenter.com (fees apply); or charge by phone at (907) 891-7410 (fees apply).

All seating will be general admission, with doors opening one hour before the first match each day.

Full-tournament passes can be purchased for $30 (adult) or $18 (student/youth/seniors*), while single-day passes will be $12 (adult) and $7 (student/youth/seniors*). Additionally, youth groups, school groups (K-12) and club volleyball teams of 10 or more can purchase tickets at a group rate for $5 apiece. For group rates, contact Chris Gerace at (907) 786-7811.
