2017 UAA/Alaska Dispatch News Creative Writing Contest

The 35th UAA/Alaska Dispatch News Creative Writing Contest is now open for entries. Writers of all ages are encouraged to submit their best writing in fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Cash prizes are presented to first place winners plus Grand Prize and Editor's Choice winners. Entries are due by Feb. 10.

The contest is sponsored by the University of Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Dispatch News, and is coordinated by the Alaska Center for the Book.
