Feb. 22, 2017: Education Advisory Board presents 'State of the Union in Higher Education' at UAA

State of the Union in Higher Education Wednesday, Feb. 22, 3:30 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

Representatives from Education Advisory Board (EAB) will be on campus to present a "State of the Union in Higher Education" address, developed from the perspectives of their member campuses and their knowledge of the many environmental forces at play. While UAA has partnered with EAB for a number of years, this will be their first visit to campus.​

This presentation will focus on how institutions can strengthen their traditional core student segments while extending their reach into new markets. We will evaluate media critiques of higher education and consider the impact of new ranking systems that change the way prospective students and their parents evaluate colleges.
