OCR releases Title IX findings

Earlier this week President Johnsen announced that the University of Alaska had reached a voluntary resolution agreement with the U.S. Department of Education, the culmination of a three-year compliance review by the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of UA's handling of sexual assault and sexual harassment incidents on its campuses. He also noted that OCR would issue a separate document called a "Letter of Findings." OCR provided the public findings to the university, which are now available at www.alaska.edu/titleIXcompliance.
