The 2017 UAA Leadership Conference is a daylong experience to be inspired by student, staff, and faculty leaders at UAA. Hosted by the Emerging Leaders Program, the conference includes multiple leadership workshops, free lunch and a special address by TED speaker Drew Dudley. All students are invited to attend the conference on Friday, March 24, in UAA's Rasmuson Hall.

This statewide leadership conference will combine a series of workshops and educational sessions presented by students, faculty, and staff. Sessions will focus on themes of leadership, self-growth, diversity awareness, team building and more.

Drew Dudley, founder and chief catalyst of Day One Leadership and former director of the Leadership Development Program at the University of Toronto, will present the keynote address during the conference luncheon. Dudley works with organizations around the world to empower people to develop their leadership capacity. He has spoken to more 250,000 people on five continents, and appeared on The Huffington Post, TIME.com, Forbes.com, and the main page of TED.com. Dudley will also present a workshop following the luncheon.
