April 27, 2017: Learn about student exchange opportunities with the University of Tromsø & north2north

by Michelle Saport  |

Exchange opportunities with the University of Tromsø & north2north Thursday, April 27, 4-5:30 p.m. Rasmuson Hall, Room 303

The Arctic is of strategic importance to UAA, Alaska and the world. Consider including an exchange opportunity in an Arctic nation in your UAA academic career.

Join exchange students from Sweden and Finland; UAA students who visited Tromsø, Norway; Professor Diane Hirshberg, chancellor's advisor on Arctic research and education; Professor Lance Howe, chair of the Economics and Public Policy Department; and others this Thursday for a special information session.

Learn about UAA's newest partnership with the University of Tromsø, as well as other exchange opportunities in the high north and the Arctic available to UAA students through the north2north (n2n) student mobility program. Ask questions, engage with your faculty and peers, and enjoy free pizza.

All are welcome. Please join us!

For more information, contact Leslie Tuovinen, education abroad coordinator in the Office of International and Intercultural Affairs (Rasmuson Hall, Room 115), at (907) 786-4135 or latuovinen@alaska.edu. Education abroad supports UAA's International and Intercultural Learning Outcomes.

Learn about other education abroad opportunities at the next Study Abroad 101 on Friday, April 28, at 1 p.m. in RH 211.
