Lemonade Day Alaska needs volunteers for April 15, 2017

Every year, the UA Center for Economic Development program Lemonade Day Alaska hosts a booth at Kids Day. Kids Day is a great city-wide event offering free admission to museums and the zoo, as well as booths with fun, free activities and services for families at the Denia'ina Center.

We need your help to sign kids up for Lemonade Day Alaska 2017! Volunteer to help with the Lemonade Day Alaska booth at one of the many Kids Day locations on Saturday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Volunteers will receive lunch and a Lemonade Day sweatshirt.

Lemonade Day Alaska is a free program, where kids register will receive a free backpack with a workbook or journal for a fun online game that teaches 14 financial lessons on how to start a business.

We want to help foster the youth of Alaska's entrepreneurial spirit. Kids who are exposed to business and entrepreneurship are more likely to start a business and be an entrepreneur when they grow up.

Help us connect to kids in Anchorage and teach them how to be the boss. Sign up to volunteer with Lemonade Day Alaska by contacting Simone Jaggers at (907) 786-0703 or lemonadedayalaska@gmail.com.
