Apply for 2017 UAA Technology Fellows by April 15

by Michelle Saport  |

The Technology Fellows program was built to encourage and foster student achievement through the use of technology-engaged learning with faculty and staff at UAA. While the central purpose of the Technology Fellows program is course redesign, each year we select a specific focus to encourage faculty to continually build and expand new skills, interests and abilities.

The 2017 Tech Fellows cohort will focus on Making Learning Visible. This program has long been a part of the teaching and learning professional development at UAA through Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) programming. This group will have the opportunity to delve into the MLV program goals, create an investigative plan with the goal of documenting and publishing your findings through the eWolf ePortfolio system, as well as receive training on online/hybrid course design and redesign, facilitating online courses and academic technologies as part of their two-year commitment.

Applying to Tech Fellows is a competitive process and new fellows applications are reviewed by committee for selection. To apply, please review the online materials and submit using the eWolf ePortfolio process outlined on the Academic Innovations & eLearning website. The deadline to apply has been extended to Saturday, April 15, 2017.
