Position Opening: Web & Digital Communications Specialist

Seeking a Web and Digital Communications Specialist to be responsible for the enhancement of Student Affairs' webpages and other digital marketing assets to effectively communicate the university's identity, mission, key messages, and programs/resources to stakeholders. This position will ensure a consistent student-centered user experience, visual appeal, quality and clarity of content, and timeliness and accuracy of information.

The Web and Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for designing compelling content to maximize Student Affairs webpages and other digital marketing assets to effectively communicate the university's identity, mission, and key messages to stakeholders. This position will ensure a consistent student-centered user experience, visual appeal, quality and clarity of content, and timeliness and accuracy of information. This position will utilize OU Campus content management system (CMS) and collaborative networks to maintain holistic and audience-centric website pathways and content.

The expertise of this position is critical to help Student Affairs optimize its online presence to reach students and stakeholders, manage the transition of UAA's CMS by cleaning, restructuring, and refining student webpages and leverage UAA's website as its number one marketing tool. This position will partner with student affairs and campus entities to produce online experiences and communications that attract the interest of students, engage them with the campus, and move them toward enrollment or completion. This position will report to the Student Affairs Assessment and Strategic Projects Director.
