Seeking an experienced and creative communications professional to elevate Student Affairs' (SA) written communications to exceptional quality, professionalism, and engagement. With experience in marketing, persuasive writing, technical writing, editing, and communications design, this position will be influential in engaging target audiences through communication channels and enhance the University's differentiation, relevance, esteem and reputation.
The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) seeks an experienced and creative communications professional to elevate Student Affairs' (SA) written communications to exceptional quality, professionalism, and engagement. Employing a variety of communication channels, this position will play a significant role in implementing Student Affairs' overall communications strategy. Applicants should have strong writing experience with print and web and thrive in an environment of collaboration and innovation. In addition to outstanding skills as a writer, the office seeks someone with a commitment to the ideals of higher education and to supporting the shared values and strategic priorities of the University.
The Written Communications Specialist will specialize in enrollment and marketing communications, respond to project requests, and partner with SA programs to review, edit, and refine written communications. With experience in marketing, persuasive writing, technical writing, editing, and communications design, this position will be influential in engaging target audiences through communication channels and enhance the University's differentiation, relevance, esteem and reputation. This position will report to the Student Affairs Assessment and Strategic Projects Director.
