August 2017: Share your message with UAA residential students

Whether students are returning to campus or living away from home for the first time, the staff of University Housing, Dining and Conference Services and the Department of Residence Life are here to help! We work together as part of On-Campus Living (OCL) to ensure that all aspects of the residential student experience-from housing applications to room maintenance, from community involvement to student progress-are addressed.

Fall semester move-in is a long-standing campus tradition at UAA, and a wonderful opportunity to advertise your resources and services with On-Campus Living residents! We are gearing up for Fall 2017 and are happy to arrange for placement of promotional materials for your area in each resident room. With your help, we can ensure a smooth process to connect residents and resources on campus as part of our Welcome Home Week events.

When:

• Monday, July 31, 8 a.m. - The Department of Residence Life will begin accepting pamphlets, promotional items and other materials following the bundling format below.
• Wednesday, Aug. 9, 4:30 p.m. - Deadline. Please note the Department of Residence Life will NOT be able to receive any items for residents after this date/time.

Delivery process: Please deliver items to the Residence Life main office, located in MAC 6-103, adjacent to the Gorsuch Commons on Sharon Gagnon Lane. We are open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and have 15-minute parking conveniently located outside our office.

Please note: Due to limited space, staffing and staff training schedules, we are unable to accept bulk items and sort them later. We ask for your help to assemble, bundle and label your deliveries by hall/apartment. Please bundle and label items based on how you would like the item(s) to be delivered to each resident's room.

For example, if you would like to reach First-Year students only, please budget for 202 items and label the bundle "North FYRE-202."  Otherwise, please bundle/label items for all residents living in residence halls and apartment buildings using the labels/counts, below.
