CANCELLED: Alaska Master Gardener course starting Sept. 11

NOTE 9/6/17: This class has been cancelled due to low enrollment.

Alaska Master Gardener training provides a broad horticultural background. Topics include botany, soils, vegetable production (using organic and conventional techniques), integrated pest management, greenhouses, lawns, houseplants, trees/shrubs, flowers and invasive plants.

Stephen Brown, the agriculture and horticulture agent for the UAF Cooperative Extension Service in Palmer, will lead the classes.

Registration fee is $300, which includes materials and a copy of Alaska's Sustainable Gardening Handbook. Individuals may register online at bit.ly/AnchMG17 or at the Anchorage Outreach Center (1840 Bragaw Street, Suite 100).
