Haunted Halloween Fun Night Saturday, Oct. 28, 1-6 p.m. Student Union

Haunted Halloween Fun Night (HHFN) has been a safe and warm alternative to trick-or-treating for more than 25 years. Each year, student clubs/organizations completely take over the Student Union and are given the opportunity to host a Halloween-themed activity for the Anchorage community. Each organization is allowed to set its own ticket price, raising money for both their club and for charity. In 2015, HHFN brought in $1,742 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In 2016, the event raised $3,656 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Anchorage. This year, our fundraiser is benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Anchorage again.

This year's line-up is still being finalized, but past activities include:

  • Corn hole
  • Cakewalk
  • Fishing
  • Nerf gun shooting gallery
  • Pumpkin golf
  • Squirt gun boat race
  • Decorating hats, crowns, masks station
  • Bean bag toss
  • Pin the bone on the skeleton
  • Ghost bowling
  • Limbo
  • Prizes
  • Halloween Skee-Ball
  • Just Dance Wii video game
  • Witch ring toss
  • Punch-out pumpkin
  • Donut eating contest
  • Angry Birds booth game
  • Bone tic tac toe
  • Nose - candy grab
  • Nerf darts
  • Ghost toss

Only $0.50 for tickets for fun activities! Each activity costs one, two or three tickets.

And for some more exciting news, we are now accepting credit cards for buying tickets at HHFN. There is a transaction fee attached, but it is cheaper than the transaction fee at the ATM. The fees are as follows:

  • $10 bundle - $1.00 surcharge
  • $15 bundle - $1.25 surcharge
  • $20 bundle - $1.50 surcharge
