Tragic loss motivates UAA student to pursue career in oncology

Four years ago, Lee Wang's mother died of cancer. The tragedy motivated the UAA student to work toward a career in oncology, and the Alaska PreMed Summit guided her first steps. This year's Summit is scheduled for April 1 at UAA's Rasmuson Hall.

You'll learn how to prepare for and apply to medical school, and you'll hear all about the medical education process.
