The AK Jazz Workshop and UAA Student Jazz Combos present a concert and jam session in honor of UNESCO International Jazz Day for Peace, April 30. The ensembles will jam on hot jazz, Latin, blues and funk-style songs for your enjoyment.

UAA Summer Engineering Academies expand offerings, openings, venues

Openings are still available in UAA's popular Summer Engineering Academies, a BP-sponsored program that seeks to engage youth in various facets of engineering. This year, academies will be held in Mat-Su as well as in Anchorage, and sessions cost $100 a week per child (fee waivers available), with lunch included!
