Jeffrey Jessee joins UAA as dean of College of Health and vice provost of health programs

Jeffrey Jessee will be joining the UAA College of Health as dean of the college and vice provost of health programs. Jessee's experiences working with governmental, health care and nonprofit organizations position him well to lead UAA's College of Health. He succeeds Bill Hogan, who has been with UAA since 2011 and served as dean since January 2013. Hogan will retire at the end of June.

The Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence program is now accepting online nominations for the 2017 awards. These awards recognize faculty and staff for extraordinary work and dedication to UAA students and community. Nominations are due by Friday, March 31.

March 31, 2017: Emergency closure of Central Parking Garage to clear frozen drains

The UAA Central Parking Garage will be closed Friday, March 31, 2017 for emergency work to clear frozen drains on every level of the garage. With the potential of broken pipes and running water, the closure is necessary to allow work to occur. Parking in the surface lot adjacent to the garage should not be affected.
