March 6, 2018: Process improvement workshop series launches with 'Chartering Improvement Projects'

The Lean Center of Excellence is hosting a series of process improvement workshops aligned with the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. The first of these workshops, titled "Chartering Improvement Projects," will be held March 6, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Engineering & Industry Building, Room 413. This event, led by LuAnn Piccard (chair of the UAA Department of Engineering, Science and Project Management), will provide answers to common questions asked during the initial phase of process improvement projects, with a focus on defining problem statements, identifying key stakeholders, setting milestones and appropriately scoping complex projects.
