by Michelle Saport  |

Dear UAA faculty, staff and students,

We are seeking your help for a feedback survey on studded tire use in Alaska. This survey is conducted by the University of Alaska Anchorage, College of Engineering.

The purpose of this survey is to help Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) better understand the extent of studded tire use on Alaskan roadways during the winter months. This information will help DOT&PF better plan for future use of studded tires and maintenance of Alaska roadways.

This survey is completely voluntary, anonymous and takes about five minutes to complete. You can stop and withdraw from the survey at any time. Your email will not be linked to your responses, or shared with DOT&PF or any other public or private agencies. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Professor Osama A. Abaza at (907) 786-6117 or oabaza@alaska.edu.
