UAA Early Childhood programs receive national accreditation

The UAA College of Education's A.A.S. in Early Childhood Development and B.A. in Early Childhood Education both have received national recognition as fully accredited programs through the National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC promotes high-quality learning by connecting practice, policy and research, and recognizes institutions of higher education providing early childhood training programs that meet high standards of professional preparation for serving children aged 8 years or younger as well as their families. The UAA Early Childhood faculty consists of Dr. Hilary Seitz, Dr. Wei Hsiao, Dr. Kathryn Ohle, Karen Roth, Dr. Hattie Harvey and Kitty Deal (Kodiak).
